Guided Tour


Discover the art and science of artefact conservation and preservation at the Heritage Conservation Centre. Home to more than 150,000 pieces of priceless heritage and cultural treasures, this centre is the first of its kind in the region, which combines a centralised collections repository with conservation laboratories under one roof. Get to appreciate what goes on behind the scenes especially in maintaining and preserving our national treasures. Tours are normally conducted by our volunteer guides.

Guided tour of the centre is strictly by appointment only. Due to security reasons, a group size of not more than 15 persons and a recommended age limit of 15 years of age and above for visitors. Visitation days are on Wednesday, either 10.00am or 3.00pm. Tour route lasts for approximately one to one and a half hours and will only commence with a minimum of 8 persons.

(Please note: Our Centre is currently closed for interior construction works. Guided tours to the centre is temporarily suspended till end October 2010. Do enquire with us should you wish to make any advance bookings.)
