About Collections Care

Some of your most treasured heirlooms may have survived the test of time unblemished and intact, but what about the others that have not?

Most heirlooms and collectibles are in varying states of disrepair. While you may not be able to restore them to the former glory (or even wish to do so), carrying out preventive conservation measures is very important.

This helps to prolong the "life" of these treasures. It also helps to minimise the devastating effects of agents of decay such as light, humidity, temperature, pests, pollution and physical damage caused by accidents or mishandling.
